With the weather being a little up and down we thought we would take a look at things to do indoors and what's better than a movie marathon! The issue is….what to watch? We have you covered!

Choosing something to watch can be really difficult, especially when you have children, here are a few films we think children should watch before the age of 10!

15. Charlotte's Web (2006)

Not so much a classic but definitely one to watch to help kids understand loyalty and friendship. Charlotte’s web is a film I will always remember from my childhood.

14. Mary Poppins (1964)

We all love Mary Poppins, a very well known classic. Even though graphics wise the film is looking a little old, it still has the same amount of magic as when it was new out! Introduce your children to this as soon as you can!

9. Toy Story (1995 - 2019)

Toy Story… a story about toys...but it is more than that, it is about memories, attachments and friendship. Suitable for children and adults, Toy Story is definitely a good choice.

4. Wizard Of Oz (1939)

The Wizard Of Oz had to be in the top 5, it has got to be one of the best classic movies offersing music, dance, colour, magic, everything you want to see in a film, although looking at films made then and now the special effects aren’t great it is still be far one of the best films around.

Short Description: After a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy and her dog Toto are taken to Oz where they have to follow the yellow brick road, make friends and reach the wizard in order to get home.

Run time: Wizard Of Oz (1939) - 1 hour 52 minutes

3. Willy Wonka/Charlie & The Chocolate Factory (1971/2005)

Both films are so good I couldn't choose between the two. The original Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory is a classic, the orange umpa lumpas with the green hair and the classic songs. But the new Charlie & the Chocolate Factory has Johnny Depp, better special effects and a fun element of comedy. It's safe to say both are worth your time.

1. Coco (2017)

Where do I start... Coco is a film about the day of the dead, music, magic, love, loss it is a film that will touch your heart. It is also a film that helps children understand loss and that they should remember their loved ones that are no longer here and respect the loved ones they have.

Coco is by far my favourite film for adults and children which is why it steals the top spot at number 1.

Short Description: Coco is a film about a boy called Miguel who has a passion for music of which his family have banned. Miguel stumbles into the land of the dead, where he learns about his great-great-grandfather who was a singer.
